Yosemite Mountain Ranch

Another year has passed and it is time to go to my favorite place in the whole world, my ranch! Now assuming it does not get burned down by the horrible Telegraph Fire that is burning about 20 miles away, I will sitting on the deck featured in the photo by 5 p.m. on Sunday enjoy a large glass of California's finest Cabernet. Who's going to be joining me?

The week will be filled with wonderful food and wine, adventure (jeep, waterfalls, cliff jumping, and wild animals), relaxation (naps in hammocks, canoe rides on the lake) and fun (skits, s'mores, swimming holes, hikes and family) I am so excited I can hardly stand it.

So if you don't hear from me for a few days that is why, I am going to be (almost) cut off from all civilization (even though I do get one bar on my cell phone if I stand on one leg while standing on top of a tree stump). But I am planning on turning the crackberry off... we'll see what happens!

Back in Colorado and Ready For a Nap!

It was a whirlwind weekend, that started off on a very positive note, 2 great interviews! My interviews with OMA and Moses Anshell went awesome, although none of them are having me start tomorrow (I would literally start tomorrow I am that dedicated :)) there is interest. It's a start and I like it, and with the way this weird world works who knows what is going to happen next. Wish me luck :)

On a personal note, the wildfires in Yosmite are starting to scare me, I am supposed to be there this Friday but if the fire isnt contained I am not sure what I am going to do... rain dance anyone?
